About Me

Dr. Galgano is a native of Franklin Square, Long Island. He attended Binghamton University and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry. Joe subsequently attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY where he earned his MD in 2021. He completed his Interna...
Dr. Galgano is a native of Franklin Square, Long Island. He attended Binghamton University and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry. Joe subsequently attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY where he earned his MD in 2021. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency here at the University of Rochester Medical Center with a Distinction in Medical Education.

Outside of the hospital you can find him bothering his downstairs neighbors by playing drums, perfecting his homemade pasta dough recipe, winning hands at poker and playing board games with his home friends. After completing a year as Chief Internal Medicine Resident he plans on likely pursuing a career in Nephrology.
