Dr. Callahan is a member of the MS1 Human Structure and Function (HSF) Anatomical Strand Faculty Team. Her educational interests are in all forms of Anatomy, with particular emphasis on Micro-anatomy (also referred to as Histology). Dr. Callahan is the newly appointed Histology Resources Curator whose responsibilities include assembling and maintaining the digital histological resources significant for medical education and research. Dr. Callahan's current goals are to add significant content to the HSF digital slide database, to update the histology medical education curriculum content, and to support the microscopy education in CVRI.
