Biography

Professional Background

I completed my MD and PhD training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. My PhD was focused on the ability of Mycobacteria to modulate the host immune response and was conducted in the laboratories of Dr. Clifford Harding and Dr. W. Henry Boom.

I did both my residency (Clinical Pathology) and fellowship (Medical Microbiology) at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.

Research

My research interests center on using whole genome sequencing to track drug resistant pathogens.
