Dr. Modrak graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1989. He subsequently completed an Internal Medicine residency as well as Fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Rochester. He has been on the faculty at URMC since completing his training in 199...
Dr. Modrak graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1989. He subsequently completed an Internal Medicine residency as well as Fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Rochester. He has been on the faculty at URMC since completing his training in 1995. He is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He currently divides his time between seeing patients with sleep disorders at the UR Medicine Sleep Disorders Center and providing pulmonary/critical care services for patients hospitalized at Strong Memorial Hospital. He is the associate medical director of the UR Medicine Sleep Disorders Center and also the medical director of the Thompson Health Sleep Disorders Center in Canandaigua.

Dr. Modrak is married and has 2 grown children. He is an avid bicyclist and is quite happy about the fact that the Sleep Disorders Center is adjacent to the Erie Canal so that he can bike to work much of the year.
