Sarah began her career at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2002. Her years of nursing experience in the Operating Room, Burn/Trauma ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, and Emergency Department, as well as her additional training as both an Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner, afford her a unique insight into the care of patients and their families.

Sarah is the Program Manager of the Pediatric Perioperative Surgical Home (PPSH), A One Patient – One Team Initiative.
The PPSH is a multi-specialty group of Golisano Children's Hospital (GCH) providers working together to provide personalized, high-quality care coordination and perioperative optimization to children with medical complexities requiring surgical interventions. Our team of specialists creates safe transitions of care for medically fragile children by focusing on family goals and enhanced communication between all of the providers involved in the patients care.
