Professional Background

Ellen Poleshuck, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Obstetrics/Gynecology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and serves as Director of the Women's Behavioral Health Service. Dr. Poleshuck is a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified marriage and family therapist. Dr. Poleshuck specializes in the assessment and treatment of underserved women and families who present for care in obstetric and gynecology practices. Dr. Poleshuck's research focuses on integrated treatments for women with depression and co-occurring concerns such as pain, intimate partner violence, and socioeconomic disadvantage.
