Patient Care Bio

As a radiation oncologist, I treat all disease sites, but specialize in the treatment of pediatric malignancies, adult lymphomas and sarcomas, and genitourinary cancers. I am proficient in the application of stereotactic intracranial and body radiosurgery for both primary and metastatic disease, in addition to total body irradiation.

I pursued a career in oncology because I wanted to be part of a team that continues to improve the outlook for all patients, while caring for patients on an individual level every day. My patients can be confident knowing I will work with them and their families to develop a personalized treatment plan using all available resources at Strong Memorial Hospital and the Wilmot Cancer Institute. These include the most cutting-edge technologies, in addition to a team of caring professionals from all disciplines of medicine.

I have a particular clinical and research interests in the long term side effects of cancer therapy and other issues related to cancer survivorship.

I grew up in Rochester and reside with my wife, also an oncologist, and our two young sons.
