Patient Care Bio
Kellin King, M.D., is Senior Instructor of Medicine at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY. She graduated from Harvard University in Boston, MA in 1999 earning a degree in Biology. She then returned home to Rochester, NY to complete her medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 2004. Dr. King completed her residency training in a combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency, also at the University of Rochester in 2008, followed by a year as Chief Resident in 2009. Since completing her Chief Residency, Dr. King has worked as Hospitalist with the Hospital Medicine Division at Strong Hospital. She also works per diem hours at the Pediatric Emergency Department at Rochester General Hospital.
Dr. King is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and chair of the local Upstate NY Chapter of the Society for Hospital Medicine. Dr. King is very interested in how we can more effectively deliver high quality medical care that is patient and family centered. She sits on the Physician Subcommittee for the Patient Experience and is the Hospital Medicine Department Champion for the Patient Experience.
