Patient Care Bio

As a medical student, I decided to become a Radiologist because I was amazed by the power of medical imaging. Twenty-five years later - I am even more amazed. Our imaging tools are astounding. But they are only tools, and far from perfect. What matters are how we can use them to help you, the patient.

Our images show many things: some that are definitive: certain diagnosies, normal variants and findings of ageing, but also many that are uncertain: that may need biopsy, follow-up or further testing. A large part of our job to help sort out what should be done next.

I head our PET/CT center at University Imaging at Science Park. We are a great team of Radiologists, technogists, nurses, and staff. It is my privilege to speak on behalf of that team sometimes. If you are a patient, particularly if you are reading this because you have been diagnosed with cancer, then know that we at University Imaging at Science Park, are on your side.
