MAJOR MEDICAL PRACTICE
Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

MAJOR CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Attending Physician in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (PHO)
• Assume primary responsibility for a cohort of hematology, oncology, and HSCT patients
• Attending physician on the inpatient service 5 weeks/year
• PHO outpatient clinic 1-2 half days per week

Professional Background

Dr. Bruckner is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Oncology, and the Clinical Director of the Pediatric General Inpatient Units at the Golisano Children's Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). She earned her medical degree and PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at SUNY at Upstate Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship training in hematology and oncology at URMC.

Associate Professor of Pediatrics & Oncology, Dr. Bruckner leads and provides oversight to the clinical operations of the Golisano Children's Hospital including the admission process and bed capacity management, optimizing the use of the electronic medical record (eRecord), patient and family satisfaction, and quality of care, safety, and regulatory initiatives. Dr. Bruckner holds multiple leadership positions including:
