Dr. Namassivaya received her M.D. degree from Bangalore Medical College, India. She completed her transitional year at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and PM&R residency at the University of Rochester. She is board certified in spinal cord injury medicine. She Became Director of the Prosthetic Clinic in September 2004. She is actively involved in teaching the residents and medical students. Her areas of interest are SCI, CVA, Spasticity and prosthetic/orthotics.
