Professional Bio

Mr. Casale is a Project Director in both the Division of Medical Informatics and the Information Systems Division (ISD) at URMC. He manages the Enterprise Application Integration team within ISD. He also manages the development and support of the Medical Informatics Clinical Data Repository and Research Data Warehouse.

Mr. Casale is an Associate Faculty member of the Division of Medical Informatics at URMC. He is actively involved with the development of the Medical Informatics Masters Degree program jointly offered between the UofR and RIT. He is an adjunct professor for the undergraduate Medical Informatics bachelor's program at RIT since 2005.

RESEARCH INTERESTS: Mr. Casale is interested in the application of Medical Informatics in support of patient care, translational research and medical education. His specific interests are in the areas of information integration technologies, data warehousing, database systems, software development and its application within Medical Informatics.
