Dr. Jones is a Board Certified Radiologist in the Department of Imaging Sciences Emergency Radiology section, with additional subspecialty training and certification in Pediatric Radiology.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University in 1985 with both BS and MS degrees in Biological Sciences. Dr. Jones earned her medical degree from the University of California at San Diego in 1990. Following completion of a 4 year residency program in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in 1994 , she completed a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at the University of Washington's Seattle Children's Hospital. From 1995-1998 she was at Stanford as a Clinical Assistant Professor practicing in both abdominal imaging and pediatric radiology, and she joined the faculty at the University of Rochester in 1998. After working for over 10 years each in the Pediatric radiology and Abdominal Imaging sections, she transitioned to Emergency Radiology in 2018, providing expertise in these areas overnight. Modalities include CT, US, Radiographs, and MRI.
