Mrs. Bilinski's nursing career began in 1979 starting as a camp nurse for the mentally/developmentally disabled in the Catskills for two years. Since that time her nursing experience included inpatient staff nurse on telemetry unit, inpatient psychiatric units, psychiatric home care, outpatient geriatric psychiatry, memory disorders, nursing home consultations and currently telepsychiatry. Mrs. Bilinski has worked as an APN since 1988 and came to UR Medicine in 1998 as a psychiatric CNS in the Older Adult service. She obtained her NPP degree in 2007 from UR SON post master's program.

She is a longstanding member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and former member of DePaul's Special Review committee. She is a clinical associate at the UR SON. She has conducted inservices (and published related articles) on stress management for health professionals, mindfulness meditation, and other related topics. She has also published articles about psychiatric home care and served as consultant to other NYS home care agencies developing a psychiatric home care program.
