As part of the Flaum Eye Institute optometry team, she is responsible for routine and medical eye screenings. She is also experienced in diagnosing and managing complex medical conditions related to eye care. This includes co-management with Flaum Eye Institute’s ophthalmology specialists for conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration. She has specific interests in working with patients who have keratoconus, severe dry eye and corneal ectasia. Dr. Germain is native to the Finger Lakes Region, growing up in Walworth, NY. She attended the University of Rochester, where she graduated with honors in mathematics.
