Dr. Teeters received his MD degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Preventive Cardiology at the University of Rochester. He joined the faculty in 2009.
Dr. Teeters joined the Highland Hospital Cardiology Division in 2009 as the Chief of Cardiology. He holds advanced certification in vascular ultrasound and interpretation and has a special interest in peripheral arterial disease. He also specializes in non-invasive Cardiology including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and nuclear cardiac imaging. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
