Professional Background

Donna R. Berryman is Director of Miner Libraries. In this capacity, she is responsible for the staff and services of Basil G. Bibby Library (Eastman Institute for Oral Health), Golisano Children's Hospital Family Resource Library, John R. Williams Health Sciences Library (Highland Hospital), and Edward G. Miner Library (URMC). Donna also is Associate Professor of Clinical Public Health Sciences.

As a nationally-recognized leader in the field of medical librarianship, Donna is a strong advocate for the transforming impact of libraries. Quality health information underpins all aspects of health care. Before coming to Rochester, Donna was the Outreach Coordinator for the New England Region of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine housed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. In that capacity, she taught classes on how to use resources from the National Library of Medicine for health professionals and librarians all over New England.
