Dr. Gilmore has a special clinical and scientific interest in disorders of the cutaneous nervous system, stemming from her background in neuroscience and electrophysiological studies of ion channels. In particular, Dr. Gilmore is interested in the evaluation and treatment of patients with persistent itch and chronic skin pain.

Dr Gilmore received her MD/PhD from the Univeristy of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
