He is the Medical Director for Acute Inpatient Services, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry division. Dr. Kurien received his MBBS in 1999 from Manipal College of Medical Sciences (Kathmandu University), Pokhara, Nepal. He completed Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in Rochester, New York in 2011 and his General Psychiatry residency at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, North Chicago, Illinois in 2009. Dr. Kurien is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
