About Me

I worked with my first Midwife at St. Mary's hospital several years ago. I found that the midwifery model of care was extraordinary and one of a kind. I worked with my first Midwife at St. Mary's hospital several years ago. I found that the midwifery model of care was extraordinary and one of a kind. It was that experience and the reputation of Beth Cooper that sparked my interest in becoming a midwife. I received my B.S.N. from Roberts Wesleyan in 2000 and my M.S.N. from SUNY Stony Brook in 2002. I worked Labor & Delivery for 7+ years when I decided midwifery was for me. I enjoyed the mother/baby experience and wanted to contribute further to bettering that experience for women and the adolescents. In my spare time, I love to cook and bake. I enjoy spending time with the children of my children!
