Dr. Thomashefski received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr. Thomashefski values building long-term and individualized relationships with patients of all ages and experiences. He believes his role as a family physician is to work collaboratively with his patients to help guide them with health and wellness choices.

Dr. Thomashefski has special interests in general family medicine, preventive medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health and wellness, sports medicine and addiction prevention/recovery.
