Dr. Su Kanchana, M.D., Ph.D. is a member for the movement and inherited neurological disorders (MIND). Dr. Kanchana completed her master's and doctoral degrees in biology, and doctoral of medicine at Wayne State University and School of Medicine. She completed a neurology residency at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and fellowship in movement disorders at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Strokes, National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Kanchana has special interests in Parkinson disease, deep brain stimulation (DBS), and Botulinum toxin therapy. She was previously director of the movement disorders program at Reading Hospital and Medical Center, and co-director of the movement disorder program at Lehigh Neurology in Allentown, PA.
She has offices in the Southern Tier Neuromedicine in Big Flats and URMC movement disorder clinic at 919 Westfall Road, Rochester. She is the founder and advisor of the Twin Tiers Parkinson group (TTPG) in Big Flats, NY.
