She practices at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Toxicology and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at URMC. Additionally, she serves as a Consultant Toxicologist for the Upstate New York Poison Center in Syracuse, NY. Her clinical practice includes working alongside the bedside toxicology consult service and as a clinical pharmacist in the emergency department where she provides toxicology and pharmacotherapy education to a variety of clinicians and trainees. Dr. Schult also serves as faculty for the medical and clinical toxicology fellowship programs at the Upstate New York Poison Center and coordinates the toxicology learning experience for the medical and pharmacy trainees at URMC. Recently she was co-Chairman of the ED Opioid Task Force and had an active role on the enterprise-wide Opioid Task Force. In 2017 she was honored with the New York State Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Clinical Practitioner of the Year Award and in 2018 with an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Best Practices Award in Health-System Pharmacy.
