Dr. Vidula is the Medical Director of Heart Transplantation and provides care for patients with advanced heart failure. She is also the Cardiovascular Director of the Comprehensive Sarcoidosis Program. Her special interest and expertise include heart transplantation, left ventricular assist devices, cardiac MRI, and infiltrative cardiomyopathies. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation.

Professional Background

Dr. Vidula received her MD degree from Northwestern University and completed her residency, cardiovascular disease, and advanced heart failure fellowships at Northwestern University. She joined the faculty in 2014. Dr. Vidula has received multiple research grants for prospective studies in patients with left ventricular assist devices. Her NIH R01 grant funded research is related to blood pressure management in left ventricular assist device recipients. She has published her work in multiple journals and has been invited to speak at the American Heart Association, Heart Failure Society of America, and International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation Annual Meetings. Dr. Vidula is currently the Governor of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
