Biography

Dr. Vidula provides care for patients with advanced heart failure. Her special interest and expertise include ventricular assist devices, heart transplantation, cardiac MRI and infiltrative cardiomyopathies. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation. She is the Program Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship as well as the Cardiovascular Director of the Comprehensive Sarcoidosis and Amyloidosis Programs.

Professional Background

Dr. Vidula received her MD degree from Northwestern University and completed her residency, cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure fellowships at Northwestern University. She joined the faculty in 2014. Dr. Vidula has received multiple research grants for prospective studies in patients with left ventricular assist devices. She has published her work in multiple journals and has been invited to speak at the American Heart Association, Heart Failure Society of America, and International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation Annual Meetings.
