Stella O. King-Turner, MD, MHA, is currently an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). Dr. King received her medical degree in 1998 from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School – Camden, NJ (Rutgers Roberts Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway, NJ). She was Chief Resident 2000-2001 and did her internship at Duke University/SRAHEC Family Practice Residency – Fayetteville, NC. She received her Masters Degree in Health Administration from University of South Florida – Tampa, FL in 2009. Dr. King is a member of the America Academy of Family Physicians, the National Medical Association, and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.

She currently performs clinical work in the Strong Hospital Emergency Department Observation Units. Other professional roles include Medical School Course Director- Meliora in Medicine and the Director of the Medical Student Outreach Programs.
