• Strongly committed to the mission of higher education and to the role information technology and resources play in supporting that mission including teaching, learning, research, and institutional effectiveness;
• Computational biologist with a PhD from Yale University and broad knowledge of biomedical informatics, computational biology, genomics, pharmacogenomics, protein structure, and high-throughput screening;
• Co-Investigator for CTSA proposal for University of Arizona; member of Biomedical Informatics Management Team and co-leader IT Infrastructure services for the Biomedical Informatics (BMI) Core;
• Significant responsibilities for design, planning, management and operation of administrative, academic, clinical, and research technology;

Institutional governance and oversight experience with boards of trustees, state systems, and accrediting organizations;
