Shrenik Shah obtained his M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, India in 2005 .After completing his Master's degree he worked in a cord blood banking lab and received training in isolating and cryopreserving stem cells for possible future clinical use. In 2006, he accepted a position at 21st Century Hospital in Surat, India. Here he began his career as an embryologist in the in-vitro fertilization lab. Since then he has been working in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility field.
Shrenik received his complete embryology training in India. In 2009 he came to the United States and accepted a position in the Andrology and Endocrine Lab at Valley Hospital in NJ. From there, he took an embryology positon at University Reproductive Associates, an affiliate center of UMDNJ. He then took an appointment as a Senior Staff Associate at the Columbia University Clinic Center for Women Reproductive Care in NY. Since then, he has accepted a Faculty position at University of Rochester Medical Center and was appointed Lab Supervisor at Strong Fertility Center.
Shrenik Shah is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). He is board certified by American Board of Bioanalysts (AAB) as a Technical Supervisor in the field of Embryology. His current areas of interest are male infertility, vitrification, and embryo aneuploidy.
