Professional Background

Dr. Zanoria obtained her medical degree from Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut (UCONN Health) Categorical Program, where she was bestowed with the Harold N. Willard Award for excellence in ambulatory care. She then moved to Rochester NY for her general Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Rochester, as well as an additional year in Transplant Infectious Diseases. She joined the Transplant ID Division at Strong Memorial Hospital after she finished her training. Her clinical interests encompass the diagnosis and treatment of infections in immunocompromised hosts, including solid organ transplant and bone marrow transplant recipients. She actively participates in the education and training of the infectious disease fellows and residents. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
