Biography

Professional Background

The UR Medicine Department of Surgery is pleased to announce the addition of Kathleen G. Raman, M.D., M.P.H. to our Division of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Raman is an Associate Professor of Surgery, Medical Director of the IAC-accredited noninvasive vascular laboratory, as well as an Associate Program Director for Research within the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Raman joins us from Washington University in St. Louis where she was an Assistant Professor of Surgery and a staff physician at the St. Louis VA Healthcare System and the Marion VA Medical Center.
In addition to being the recipient of several prestigious awards related to research and education, Dr. Raman has authored numerous publications and remains active as a peer reviewer of grants and journals. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Raman is also certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
