Katie is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in movement disorders neurology. After receiving her graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 she began her career as a nurse practitioner by providing primary care to adults with developmental disabilities. Following several years in that role as well as providing retail healthcare and teaching pre-licensure nursing, she moved to Rochester and joined the University of Rochester Movement Disorder team in 2017. Currently she provides care to patients with Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, Tourette's syndrome, and tardive dyskinesia, among other diagnoses. The goal of her clinical practice is to provide individualized, evidence-based care with kindness and respect.
