Cathy Wing Man Yuen, O.D.

Cathy Yuen, OD provides expert primary eye care to a wide range of patients, from teens to seniors. As part of the Flaum Eye Institute optometry team, she is responsible for routine and medical eye screenings and refers appropriately to general ophthalmologists and subspecialists as necessary. She also has experience in the VA system and in managing patients with diabetic eye disease and glaucoma.

Dr. Yuen completed her undergraduate degree at the State University of British Columbia, Canada. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry where she performed clinical externships at private practices, Veterans hospitals and the University of Miami's Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at the State University of New York College of Optometry. She has clinical experience in contact lens, pre-operative and post-operative care for patients in consideration of LASIK surgery, and medical eye care. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and the New York State Optometric Association.
