She also has a research interest in the activity dependent changes of the auditory neural pathways. She is a graduate of the M.D.-Ph.D. program at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. She completed her internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Washington. She completed additional training at University of California San Diego ACGME accredited Neurotology fellowship. She is board certified both in Otolaryngology and in Neurotology through the American Board of Otolaryngology.
