Dr. Ajay’s clinical interests include reconstructive urology, urethral stricture disease, urinary incontinence, neurourology, complex voiding dysfunction, pelvic floor prolapse, urinary fistulae, upper tract reconstruction, urinary diversions with a specific interest in cancer survivorship.
Dr. Ajay received her Doctor of Medicine from Duke-NUS Medical School. She then completed a residency in urology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. She completed a Master’s in Public Health at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill during this time. Upon completing her residency, Dr. Ajay pursued a fellowship in urinary tract and pelvic reconstruction at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ajay is involved in clinical research to better understand patient reported outcomes in reconstructive urology, create patient decision aids for shared decision making and studying ways to optimize the patient and provider telemedicine experience.
