Dr. Rana completed medical school and internship at B.J. Medical College in India, followed by a residency in Pediatrics at Albany Medical Center, NY. He completed his Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at Connecticut Children’s Hospital, Hartford, CT, where he also completed a Masters in Clinica...
Dr. Rana completed medical school and internship at B.J. Medical College in India, followed by a residency in Pediatrics at Albany Medical Center, NY. He completed his Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at Connecticut Children’s Hospital, Hartford, CT, where he also completed a Masters in Clinical and Translational Research.

Dr. Rana's special interests include pediatrics inflammatory bowel disease, functional gastrointestinal disorders and motility disorders. He is currently working toward setting up a Motility Center for both adults and pediatrics patients here at the University of Rochester.
