Biography

Professional Background

I have a diverse background and interest in pain. From mice to humans, across different clinical contexts and perspectives, studying pain and attempting to understand its incredible variability has been my primary research focus to date. I am a member of the Analgesic, Anesthetic, and Addiction Clinical Trial Translations, Innovations, Opportunities, and Networks (ACTTION) team, a public-private partnership with the FDA, working to optimize the measurement of pain and the conduct of clinical trials for pain treatments.
