Caregiver Support and Education Series
Caregiving is a difficult job. It often is isolating, lonely, and full of mixed emotions and experiences. Join us for our Caregiver Support and Education Series. We hope that these sessions will be informative and allow you to connect with other caregivers in a safe and confidential setting. All groups will be held on Fridays from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided and there is no cost to attend. Registration is required (max 10 participants).

- Friday November 17th: Conflict Resolution - In this meeting we will review several helpful strategies for resolving conflicts. Feel free to bring examples of common concerns and we can brainstorm ideas together.
- Friday December 15th: Managing Holiday Stress and Change - We will discuss common difficulties associated with the holidays, including how to help your loved one manage large holiday gatherings, sensory concerns, and being off-schedule.
- Friday January 19th: Setting Self-Care Goals for Year - People often talk about setting goals or resolutions for the New Year. In this meeting we will explore ways you can take care of yourself as you care for your loved one.

Soul Satisfying Soups with Chef Mackenzie Zerniak
Date: February 6, 2018, 5:30 – 7pm
Location: Gilda’s Club, 255 Alexander St, Rochester, NY 14607
Local Chef Mackenzie Zerniak will be making homemade vegetable broth and then using the broth as a base for 3 different soups- miso, butternut squash and minestrone.
