Diversity and Cultural Awareness Leadership Team (DCALT)

Diversity and Cultural Awareness Leadership Team (DCALT) is a group of dedicated current and former Psychiatry personnel who meet monthly to create opportunities for policy and practice improvement, as well as ongoing professional development and training, to improve understanding of difference within our walls. Members participate in diversity related committees and activities throughout the medical center, University, and community to increase our collective capacity in this area. Cultural Competence and Diversity policy

The Department of Psychiatry requires faculty and staff to complete three hours of diversity and inclusion training each year. Some hours can be completed through online offerings on MyPath.
