*        Graduation Rate is the program's Advertised Length of Completion which is how long the program is designed to complete as written.
**      Job Placement Rate is the percentage of graduates from the cohort year that are employed utilizing skills learned in the COAMFTE accredited program.
***    Licensure Rate is the percentage of graduates from the cohort year that have achieved ANY level of MFT licensure.
          For Master's programs only, COAMFTE has established a benchmark of 70% licensure rate for each cohort.

2015-2016:    3 FT students completed PhDs and became licensed psychologists / 1 FT student is employed as a relational-systemic professional, but did not pursue licensure.
2017-2018:    1 FT student changed her status to PT
2018-2019:    1 FT student withdrew due to personal reasons / Unlicensed alum is doctoral student
2019-2020:    1 PT student changed status to FT / 1 PT student in progress / Unlicensed alum is doctoral student
2020-2021:    1 PT student withdrew / 2 FT students changed their status to PT / 1 FT student stayed an additional semester
2021-2022:    2 FT students withdrew / 2 students stayed an additional semester

In accordance with standards provided by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), our graduate achievement criteria is summarized above and also available on their website.  The data in this table reflects our program’s commitment to preparing our students for licensure and successful careers as Marriage and Family Therapists, and has been prepared with information from our January 2023 COAMFTE Report.
