Providing leading edge services and instrumentation to all researchers at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Note from the Director

The Shared Resource Laboratories provide an extensive spectrum of trained personnel, innovative, leading edge services and instrumentation to all researchers at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Our highly skilled and continually trained technical personnel provide the proper and timely expertise to bridge the gaps between sophisticated instrumentation and biology. We favor an integrated approach to research yielding more insight and an answer to today's increasingly complex questions.

Whatever it is you need to enhance your research, the Shared Resources Labs has it, will get it, will do it, or will invent it.

URMC Proteomics Symposium

September 14, 2016, 10 am – 2:15 pm, Class of ’62 Auditorium, G-9425

The Mass Spectrometry Resource Laboratory (MSRL) at the University of Rochester Medical Center is an established core facility that has provided mass spectrometry support for investigators in Western New York for over 20 years. As part of its mission to foster proteomic research and inform the regional research community of its services, the MSRL organizes a Proteomics Symposium held every two years. This year, the symposium will feature six prominent local and external speakers who will describe exciting applications of proteomics to important biomedical questions. In addition to the seminars, the symposium will provide opportunities for networking and learning about the instrumentation and capabilities of the URMC MSRL. Click here for more details.
