Model Imaging and Tomotherapy Facility

The new Model Imaging and Tomotherapy Facility offers researchers at the University of Rochester access to a Small Animal Radiation Research Platform (SARRP, Xstrahl) which allows delivery of radiation therapy protocols to animal models of human tumors. Its applications include:

  • Immunology
  • Normal tissue injury
  • Pre-clinical tumor studies
  • Pre-clinical drug efficacy and toxicity studies
  • Immuno-oncology
  • Stem cell therapy
  • Genomics

These resources are open to all laboratories/researchers at the University of Rochester. Wilmot Cancer Institute members receive priority for use, as well as discounted pricing.
