The programs and departments listed here are recognized by AMRF as those that, through action, have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. These programs have pledged a commitment to providing psychologically safe spaces for black and brown trainees. They have also pledged to support, through intentionality and consistency, the institution’s anti-racism action plan. This includes but is not limited to reviewing resident and faculty workforce diversity, facilitating training in healthcare disparities, and providing experiential quality improvement opportunities aimed at reducing health care disparities. The process for becoming an affiliate involves first signing up, then reviewing our terms of agreement, followed by pledging a commitment to uphold those terms within the program or department. Affiliate positions are reviewed by AMRF leadership annually to ensure accountability.
