Project SEARCH® at the University of Rochester Medical Center was launched in September 2009. The project operates in partnership between Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES, Arc of Monroe, ACCES-VR, Finger Lakes DDSO, and is coordinated by the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities.

A Typical Day

7:45 a.m. Students Arrive at URMC

Morning Instruction
8:45 a.m. Students Depart for Internships
9:00 a.m. -
1:30 p.m.
Internships (30 minutes for lunch)
1:30 p.m. Students Return to Classroom
1:45 p.m. -
2:15 p.m.
Afternoon Instruction, Journaling, and Problem Solving
