Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder

The Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD) is 1 of 6 regional centers for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in New York State. It is located at the University of Rochester in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities.

Mission: to contribute to the development of region-wide resources to better meet the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is accomplished through our community education, training, and technical assistance activities.

Counties Served: Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Livingston, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Oswego, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates.

Community Education

The Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD) develops and disseminates a wide variety of education and training resources on characteristics of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and evidence-based practices.

Technical Assistance

The Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD) provides information & referral, as well as short-term intensive training to specific groups of professionals, caregivers, and/or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) each year based on identified need areas.
