Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD) - Local Events July 2016 – August 2016 “Top Soccer Program”! TOPSoccer is "The Opportunity to Play Soccer" for those children and young adults ages 5 to 21 that cannot play in traditional recreational soccer programs because they are disabled, developmentally delayed or have special needs. Children or young adults, called Players, are paired with Volunteers, called Buddies, to assist on the field or with exercise drills. Buddies must be at least 12 years of age. No soccer experience is required for players or buddies. Coaches are also on hand to assist in the organization of games and drills. AutismUp 4th Annual KiteFlite Parade, Festival and Resource Expo! AutismUp is hosting its 4th annual KiteFlite Parade, Festival and Resource Expo on August 20, 2016. This is the ultimate family-friendly FUNdraising festival! Proceeds from the event remain local and benefit the expansion of AutismUp’s programming for those living with autism in the Greater Rochester area and surrounding communities. Event activities include; kite parade, inflatable bounce houses, carnival games and prizes for all ages, crafts, face paint, water balloon war, bubble party, balloon animals, DJ and dancing, wagon rides, dunk tank, Star Wars characters, super heroes, princesses and local mascot appearances, sheriff bomb squad and mounted patrol, fire truck, garbage truck and ambulance tours, festival food concessions, a Resource Expo of more than 50 organizations, and much more!
