Dr. Emerson is empathetic, patient, kind, humorous, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Emerson discovers and communicates connections between his patients' lives (work, social, etc) and their health experiences making interventions easy to understand and manage. Dr. Emerson puts his patients at ease with his positive, yet serious approach to wellness. Going to the doctor is my least favorite activity, but I always leave my appointments feeling positive and wondering why I am so nervous and anxious to attend. Dr. Emerson is patient and non-judgmental. I feel shame and am self-critical. Dr. Emerson is not dismissive of my feelings. Instead, he tells relatable stories that combat the worry and anxiety that I experience. I am grateful for Dr. Emerson's approach to care.

I had a concern about an injury (hematoma) that didn't seem to be healing and was concerned it would need more treatment. I walked in with no appointment and after listening to my concerns I was quickly squeezed in for evaluation. I knew if I needed more treatment I may need a referral and wanted to get this taken care of sooner than later. I truly appreciate them taking an added patient that day.

Dr. Emerson is kind and compassionate. He is thoughtful, funny, and calming. Dr. Emerson is empathetic and candid. I am grateful for his quick care and response to my needs. Dr. Emerson's reassurance and intervention promotes, endorses, and fosters my person wellness and overall wellbeing. Emily is a fantastic nurse. She is personable and direct. Emily is also willing to empathize and provides alternative avenues to get the result she needs. For example, she lets me stand backwards on the scale. Emily also celebrates improvements - For example: "Your blood pressure looks really good! Great job!"The front desk staff is amazing. She (Beth) is warm and kind. She demonstrates care and concern and makes every attempt to really make a connection with patients. I feel heard every time I call. Last fall, I left my ring in the office. Several months later, without prompting, at my most recent appointment, she handed it to me! "I think this is yours!"I just love this office team.

This office has continued to exceed expectations. Prior to Dr. Emerson it was a small dingy office with hit or miss care, operating on its own. Dr. Emerson has professionalized the care, the office, the staff, it is clean, modern and represents the UR Brand very well. While doing all this Dr. Emerson has embraced technology so that he and his staff could increase the level of personal attention and caring. I could NOT be happier with this staff and office. I have recommended this office to a neighbor. The ability to use My Chart for routine questions, appointments and RX refills is also a valuable tool.

BETH AT FRONT DESK. EMILY THE NURSE AND OF COURSE DR. EMERSON, ALL SO THOROUGH, PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONABLE. DR. EMERSON IS THE PERFECT DR. FOR HTIS LOCATION AND OFFICE. HE IS A MODEL FOR ANY PRACTICE. WHAT HE HAS DONE TO PROFESIONALIZE THIS PRACTICE IN HIS DECADES HERE IS AMAZING. HE IS BY FAR THE BEST DR. WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT THIS LOCATION. (SIDE NOTE) SEVERAL YEARS AGO, I WAS TRANSFERRED OUT OF STATE FOR WORK, (MARYLAND, DC, PA) I KEPT DR. EMERSON AS MY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN BECAUSE HE WAS SO GOOD FOR THOSE 8 YEARS AND COMMUTED TO SEE HIM FOR VISITS. HIS CARE WAS WORTH THE TRIP, TIME AND COST. HE HAS EARNED MY TRUST AND RESPECT AND HAS BUILT AN OFFCIE STAFF THAT EMBODIES THE SAME.
