As a Family Medicine physician, Dr. Upham enjoys caring for individuals of all ages. She has a special interest in women's health and caring for children.
Dr. Upham is accepting pediatric patients only.
Professional Background
Dr. Upham trained here in Rochester in Family Medicine through the University of Rochester at Highland Family Medicine, and she attended medical school at the Medical School for International Health located in Beer Sheva, Israel, in conjunction with Columbia University in NYC. She has additional training in OBGYN in Stamford, Connecticut, and completed a chief year administrative fellowship at Highland Family Medicine. She calls the city of Rochester her home and enjoys caring for urban residents from diverse backgrounds.
With her other colleagues in the office, Dr. Upham performs basic office procedures including mole removals, wart cryotherapy (freezing), IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, pap smears, and joint injections. She also offers point-of-care urine tests, strep tests and pregnancy tests for patient convenience.

Robbyn and I discussed changing my ADHD meds and she was extremely understanding and receptive to how I wanted to handle it. Similarly, when discussing weight loss she explained what was available to me, if I so chose. It was great to have a doctor who listened to and respected my opinions about my health and explain what avenues were available to me.

This office & Dr. Upham are the best primary care destination that I have had since I was a teen! They are so great, that when my sister moved back to the area they were my recommendation. Now we tease each other about how lucky one of us was for having a doctor visit! Especially how nice the receptionists & desk staff are, I used to see a doctor who had a receptionist that made me CRY they were so awful!

I've always enjoy my visits with Dr. Upham even when sick. She remembers everything! She will listen to you, she'll tell if your ideas are good or bad, she try's to give you choices witch is great. I've been going to her 14 yearsish and all I can say is I wish all doctors had what she brings to the table as a doctor.

Truth be told, Dr. Upham has been the best primary care physician experience I've ever had. Dr. Upham is an amazing primary care doctor. I feel comfortable coming to her about any issue, and she always takes the time to listen to me and understand my concerns. I will always say Dr. Upham deserves recognition. She has made me comfortable in my visits, shows care and interest in my concerns, provides up to date information re: meds or treatments, encouraging in my successes. And at this most recent visit the nurse, Heather, was especially friendly and informative, made me comfortable in my visit which was obvious as my usual "dr office" blood pressure was lower than often at the beginning of my visits.

Dr. Upham was absolutely incredible! She was friendly, professional, knowledgable, listened attentively, and addressed all of my concerns, and even performed a pap smear while I was holding my toddler on my chest!
