Philosophy
As a nurse practitioner, I strive to give my patients
compassionate, high-quality care that is tailored to meet
their individual needs. To do this, I acknowledge each
patient’s unique situation and educate them about
their diagnosis.
On a Personal Note
I enjoy playing hockey, golf, and skiing. I plan to start
coaching youth hockey and continue teaching adults the
game. In addition, I love spending time with my wife
and family.

Sean was exceptional. He is well-suited to be in practice with Dr. Wadsworth in that they (along with Laura) all treat me with respect, genuine care/concern, and take a conservative and sensible approach to my health concerns. I appreciate the way they actively listen, partner with me on what's happening, and make me feel seen and heard.

Sean Whelen NP - he is professional, knowledgeable, very conscientious when getting to the route of any problem. Also of course Dr. Vaules, they are so much alike. Kim LPN is exceptional She IS VERY hard working. Another asset to the group.

It was my first time seeing Sean Whelen and I was very happy with his care.

My appt. was for a UTI. I was unable to give a urine sample, but very familiar with having this condition. Sean gave me a specimen cup and was told to take a sample to a U of R lab to be tested. When I arrived at the lab (I had to lock it up - Sean did not give me any locations - told me to look up a lab on my phone)! The lab had no orders in their system so no lab work could be done. The dr. office was now closed [...] I do not feel comfortable seeing Sean Whelen NP I do not think he is sensitive to my age group!

I came in for an upper respiratory infection, got antibiotics and am feeling better.NP also noticed a cut on my finger, gave me advice and arranged for a tetanus shot.The RN who gave the tetanus shot was amazing. It only hurt a little.

Laura Converse, my regular provider is always available to me, researches the best action needed. She is excellent.Sean was new to me but he too took great care to listen and set me up with a plan of action.The staff at this practice all deserve rewards for there service to the patients.
