A woman using an exercise machine under supervisionThe PEAK Human Performance Science Clinical Research Lab is adept in early adoption of novel measurement and wearable technologies and provides state-of-the-art assessments for metabolism, body composition, cardiovascular function (including VO2max and anaerobic threshold), pulmonary function, range of motion, muscular strength, balance, and free-living activity/exercise. Examples include but are not limited to metabolic testing system for graded exercise stress testing with pulse oximetry, EKG, and blood pressure monitoring and resting metabolism, bioelectrical impedance analyzer for body composition analysis, force plate balance testing, wireless sensors for motion functional analysis, Biodex System with wireless electromyography system for muscular strength testing and dynamic analysis of muscle activity, wearable activity trackers for sleep, physical activity, and circadian rhythms analysis, and deployable heart rate monitors for heart rate variability analysis, and more.
