The Orthodontics Residency is a 2-year certificate program at the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Eastman Institute for Oral Health, where you'll be exposed to a talented, diverse faculty, fellow residents, and clinical research to enrich your experience.

We develop graduates with clinical expertise, emphasizing diagnostics and the technical knowledge to rectify complex, multifaceted problems within the craniofacial complex.

You will gain an understanding of differential diagnosis, growth measurement, treatment planning, and outcomes assessment; and toward evaluation and use of these concepts in relevant professional decision-making processes.

Flexible Curriculum

Fundamental concepts of growth and development are studied together with basic human biology as it relates to the development of the craniofacial complex in terms of skeletal, soft tissue, and dento-alveolar structures.
