Holly Russell, M.D.

Holly RussellDr. Russell is the medical director of our clinical and community-based programs. She started with the Center in July 2020. A native of Honeoye Falls, Rochester is very close to Dr. Russell's heart. After majoring in Biochemistry at Boston College, she worked at a residential drug treatment program for adolescents in Oakland, California. She then attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry, graduating with a distinction in community service. Dr. Russell then completed her residency in Family Medicine at Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania. She is a family medicine physician at Highland Family Medicine and is passionate about using different formats to promote physical activity and nutrition in underrepresented populations.
